Deep Fried Striped Bass w. Pine Nut in Sweet Sour Sauce: This was absolutely the star of the show! The fish meat was deboned and perfectly descaled. The skin was incredibly crispy and the meat was tender. They say they use fresh fish to make these, and it shows. Jelly Fish in Vinegar Sauce: The jellyfish meat was much tougher than I'm normally used to, but was still very good. The vinegar sauce was great as well. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The restrooms were clean.

Food (5/5): Even the initial salad small plate with tangy hot sauce was good. We ordered the eggplant with minced pork, double cooked fish filet, chili chicken, and sour beef soup. All of the dishes were super delicious! My favorite was the double cooked fish filet due to the nice crispy flavor. It actually paired well with the sour beef sliced soup. Service (5/5): Server was pleasant and helpful when asked. I really enjoyed their attitude and the food came out fast. No issues with getting seated. Ambiance (5/5): Really nice interior ambiance. When entering it already feels upscale with chill music and sleek lighting. You go upstairs and the dining area is super nice. The plates and utensils are set out nicely as well. You can immediately tell that this place is upscale.

This is my first time here. The food is great, and the environment is very nice. Most importantly, the service at this restaurant was absolutely top-notch! Our server, Tony, was kind, efficient, and always had a warm smile. He made sure we felt welcome and checked in regularly to ensure everything was perfect. His suggestions were spot on, and the genuine care he showed made the entire dining experience unforgettable. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

Really liked it! The ambiance is extremely pretty with good lighting, ample space, and beautiful tables, and servers were friendly. Not the best Chinese food I have, but still pretty good! Also comes with unlimited refills of a cold, spicy cabbage salad. FOOD: Smashed Eggplant (8/10) - Good flavorful dish that goes really well with rice! Recommend getting this with plain white rice. Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs (6/10) - Honestly wasn't too amazing. Ribs are cooked well but the flavor was not great - also expected this to be the smaller pork ribs.

The food here is "wow"! I came here for a work dinner and didn't have any thoughts or expectations about what I'd be eating but I really had a terrific meal. Every single thing I ate, I loved. For appetizers we had Peking duck spring rolls, veggie spring rolls and pork soup dumplings and even though I said I was going to eat just one of each, I had multiple. There were eight of us and we ordered a few things to share including the whole Peking duck, some crispy shrimp with honey walnuts and some spicy deep fried spiced chicken with crispy dough twist. Additionally, we had kimchi and cheese fried rice. Everything was so good. I ate way too much of the rice but it was so good and I've never had anything like it. The shrimp was amazing, the chicken was perfect and the duck was irresistible. Really top notch. Service was friendly although not as polished as you would expect at a restaurant with this price point. The biggest issue was with the timing of the food and drinks, especially the drinks. The cocktail menu looked great but none of the drinks lived up to the way they were described in the menu. Additionally, it took over 20 minutes for some of the drinks to come out and they came out one at a time. The last two came out after people who got theirs earlier had almost finished their drinks. That didn't spoil my time, though, because the food was so great. But I would recommend either hiring a professional bartender who can manage cocktails or just streamline the menu so they're not on there. When it takes 15 minutes for a glass of pinot grigio, something's not right. The decor is light and airy and there are lots of windows. Since you're on the second floor of the building, you don't really see cars and traffic so it's really a nice space. Definitely recommend coming here for the food. Focus on that and you'll be happy.

Jiang Nan is known for being one of the select few Chinese fusion restaurants recognized on the 2022 Michelin Guide recommended list. Their first location in Flushing has now expanded to LIC. This spot is huge with the elegant and beautiful decor. Their menus take you on a culinary journey through the rich flavors of China, with each dish crafted to perfection. The Peking duck is absolute standout - crispy on the outside , succulent on the inside and so flavorful. And the smoked pork neck meat? Wow. The depth of flavor and the smokiness just melt in your mouth. Plus they have live music for Saturday dinner making it an ideal spot for cozy and romantic evening. We had such a nice experience and definitely will be back. We ordered -Peking Duck -Smoked Pork Neck meat -Stir Fried sliced beef -Sauteed Tofu with crab meat -Smashed peppers with eggplants -Peach gummies with Tremella Follow @spinx17 for more NYC food recs!

I've been to the Chinatown location of this place and loved it! The decor of this location is the complete opposite of the Chinatown location. This one is bright, woody, and light with a lot of plants and greenery. The Chinatown one is dark and more moody. My friend and I were hungry but we took home so many leftovers cause we definitely over ordered: - 1/2 Peking Duck (we also added the $15 for duck bone soup): Both were so good. It came with a lot of pancakes for the Peking Duck. - Eggplant with minced pork: This was soooo good. I love eggplant - Soup dumplings: I don't really care for soup dumplings but my friend wanted them and they were good. I'd definitely come back but maybe not to this location since it's kinda out of the way for me.

Jiang Nan has been on my list for a while, so I'm happy I finally had a chance to go. Most everything we had was delicious, though there was a misunderstanding with one of the things we ordered. We kept it and actually ended up liking it. The only thing for me is that any dishes marked spicy or more weren't spicy at all for me. However, I can overlook that since everything tasted really good. The restaurant was also super aesthetic. Loved the decor and colors. Staff was attentive and answered questions/offered recommendations. Come in a large group so you can try more things. Sliced beef & ox tripe in chili sauce - 5/5 Salt & pepper crispy duck bones - 4/5 (this was the wrong order, we had wanted the soup) Double cook fish fillet - 3.75/5 Sautéed tofu with crab - 3.5/5
